by Luke - TripleLights travel specialist

We introduce the most popular itineraries amongst our customers who choose tours on Triplelights. We hope it helps you to plan your perfect itinerary during your trip to Japan. In our sixteenth post of the series, we focus on the best full day tour of Tokyo, with a focus on the most enjoyable attractions across the city.

In this eight hour itinerary we begin at Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji, before visiting Shinjuku for an incredible view of Tokyo from the Tokyo Metropolitan Observatory. Switching modern Japan for old Tokyo, we visit Asakusa, before taking a trip to Tokyo Station to enjoy a feast of shops. Finally, opposite the station is the Imperial Palace, a fitting end to a tour that begins and ends with a former and current Emperor of Japan.

1. Meiji Jingu Shrine

Festivals and weddings take place at the shrine throughout the year, and the surrounding nature makes it an incredible place to relax and enjoy the tranquillity and the mystical energy within.
