Get Lost No More with Car Navis!

by Yuri

Did I already mention about these cool car navigation systems inside typical Japanese-owned cars. Car navigation systems are called "kaanabi" (Car Navi) in Japanese and are usually bought and installed separately. Car navis provide you with a GPS map and lets you find your current location, as well as your desired destination, and give you the right directions on how to get there. It also talks by itself by the way. "Turn right!" "Turn left!". It also has tons of other features that are convenient for road travellers.

I feel so lucky to find Kei as my tour guide. He made my first trip to Kyoto very enjoyable and much better than being a solitary adventurer. It was a last minute plan to visit Kyoto during cherry blossom season. Many hotels were either fully booked or charged premium price. Kei came out with an idea to stay in a hotel located in a huge Zen temple. This was a unique experience compare to regula...

I had a wonderful day with Marcus. The walking tour of Mejiro that I chose was a fantastic balance of architecture and nature, modern and traditional, and different sacred buildings.
