Flower Festival in Yokohama

Now in Yokohama , flower festival is taking place through Jun 4. You can enjoy flowers not only in parks but also road side. It is nice to visit to relax.  My recommendation is to take JR train to Kannai station and use South exit. To use South exit, riding on the first car  in case coming from Tokyo or Yokohama station makes you easy . Fare is 550 yen from Tokyo station and takes about 40 min. From South exit , please walk towards bay area. On the road side you can enjoy flowers. To Zo-no-hana park, it takes about 10min. I hope you can enjoy this festival

If you are looking for an alternative to a cruise ship tour, do not hesitate to hire Hiroshi. He is an excellent guide! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Yokohama to Tokyo. I learned so much from Hiroshi and really appreciated his careful planning and attention to detail. If you want to exp...

“ First visit to Tokyo ”

Excellent

We were a group of four and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day with Hiroshi, visiting the Meiji Shrine, the temple in Azakusa and the Edo Museum. Hiroshi was so knowledgeable and this made our day so much more interesting. The weather was rather wet and he suggested visiting the Edo Museum to learn more about the Edo era, rather than an outside visit. This was an excellent way to learn about this p...

“ Outstanding custom tour of Tokyo ”

Excellent

We are so happy we chose Hiroshi for our tour of Tokyo. We were on a Millenium cruise of Japan and decided the ship’s excursion didn’t match our wish list. Hiroshi met us at the dock in Yokohama and traveled with us by train and metro to Tokyo. That morning Tokyo had heavy showers, so he instantly altered our agenda to go to two very interesting museums, one on Sumo wrestling and the other on...

“ Hakone one day tour ”

We enjoyed our Hakone day trip with Hiro. He is funny, knowledgeable and easy to have conversation with. His command of English is excellent, which helped a lot while he shared his knowledge about Japanese history. The weather wasn’t great on our day of visit to Hakone, but the excellent Open Air Museum made up for the bad weather. Thank you Hiro!

“ Perfect guide ”

Even before meeting us, Hiroshi starts helping us with our Japan tour, not to bring to much luggage, having a look after our not-so-easy-to-find appartment. Was there before time, well prepared. It was cherry blossom and full moon high season, so whole Japan was happy in pink and out. We find our way in the imperial garden to the former castle, learning a lot about history and different signs on r...

Hiroshi-san showed us around Tokyo during a full day tour. He came to pick us up at our hostel, early, and we saw Tsukiji Hongan-ji temple, Tsukiji market, had lunch at a very nice sushi restaurant, visited the Hokusai art museum, the Fukagawa Edo museum, and the Sumo museum near the stadium complete with a visit to the Sumo clothing store. So you can see that you should prepare for a full day of ...

“ Delightful Tokyo ”

Hiro met us as planned, communicated well and explained many things we saw and about life in Japan. We went to the Meiji Shrine, many interesting buildings in Tokyo and a large Temple with a long street of shopping we had a nice tempura lunch at a restaurant frequented by locals. Last he took us to Chinatown back in Yokohama where our ship was docked. Was a nice day and I recommend Hiro for a gui...
