Japanese Hanami (Cherry Blossom viewing)-- Let's have fun together!!!
Hana yori Dango? (dumplings rather than flowers)
No! You can enjoy both!
Koganei Park is one of the most popular Hanami( cherry blossom viewing) spots in Tokyo. Let's have a Hanami banquet under the 1700 old cherry trees!
On the first week Sunday there is a Sakura(cheery blossom) Festival there. On that day , there are many stalls where you can buy lunch, beer, and various foods and also many entertaining events are held like Japanese dram performance etc.
Please enjoy them under the full-blooming cherry trees.
You can also visit the Edo Tokyo Open-air Architecture Museum in the park where many old building from around 1900 are well preserved.
You can see the old public bath there which is very interesting.
Let's enjoy Japanese traditional spring together !
