Kintaro Ame (a thin, long candy that has a face of a boy named Kintaro wherever it's cut vertically) is a traditional candy loved by Japanese people for a long time.  This candy shop sells a variety of candies.  You can find Kintaro-style candy that has a beautiful flower pattern on any cross section.  You can even see candy patisseries making these candies live over the glass!
