I'd like to recommed you the following sightseeing spot in Osaka if you are planning to go round in the city.

[ Shitenno-ji Temple ]

This is the first state-established Buddhist temple in Japan featuring the Japan's oldest architectural style built by Prince Shotoku-taishi, a famous regent and statesman flourishing from 6th to 7th century.   The temple was dedicated to the Four Guardian Kings protecting Buddhism.

When I stood in the precincts  I felt solemn atmosphere and strong and earnest devotion of many people to him for long time.

He established the famous Seventeen-Article Constitution, known as the first written law of Japan whose principle of harmony through fair discussion is still very applicable today.

He is respected by many Japanese so that Japan's former ten thosand yen note used his portrait on it.

This temple is also protected by the scary Two Guardian Kings named "Nio" at its enterance gate

Many facilities in the central precinct and the garden of paradise are well worth appreciation.

The following picture shows the Garden of Paradise representing the world of Buddhist paradise that the old people imagined.

Kenji was a great tour guide. He explained the history and culture of Osaka to us and was able to amend the tour where and when needed. Kenji also helped us to sort out our JR pass for our travel in Japan and was a great help. Kenji took us to this awesome Sushi train restaurant where no one spoke English so we would not have been able to go if it was not for Kenji. Overall a great experience! Tha...

We booked trip with Kenji for half a day when our cruise ship arrived in Kobe. I initially asked Kenji for a tour to Nara but at the last minute we decided that we would rather see Himeji Castle. I asked him to change itinerary at the last minute. He was very positive about the change and suggested to go to see additionally Engyoji-temple on Mt. Shoshazan that I did not even know about. Our trip w...

We hired Triple Lights and Kenji to meet us at the port in Kobe. He was there when we arrived and guided us through the day of visiting Temples and Shrines. He handed us a detailed schedule for the day, and it worked out exactly as he had described, including finding a restaurant to meet my dietary needs. His English is very good and he is very pleasant.

“ Osaka in A Day ”

Excellent

Kenji-san was good fun, and we spent a very comprehensive day with him as our guide in Osaka. As Japan was experiencing a heatwave, we had to make extra pit stops for resting and hydrating so that stretched the day a little more than the agreed hours but Kenji-san was relaxed about it and made us feel easy and unpressurised by the slight delay. All in all, a very good overview of Osaka in one da...
