Another Story of “Casablanca”, a Romantic American Movie Released in 1942
It was especially a fulfilling day for us today. I attended a local event at a kind of community hall, where they held the unique and sophisticated event, the theme of which was a present story more than 70 years after the days of the masterpiece. It was performed by dramatic reading and live bossa nova guitar music. The total length was about 2 hours, almost the same as the original movie. I haven’t seen it before, and haven’t been the big city in the North Africa either, but we were moved a lot feeling as if we were actually seeing the love story of the granddaughter of Ilsa and the grandson of Rick, in that exotic city. We were able to taste a typical Moroccan Cuisine, too.
